Come in the first three Tuesdays in November (11/3, 11/10 & 11/17 ONLY) and try out a new technique and/or product. The cost varies per project but will be minimal. How it works is you purchase a ticket when you come in and the amount of the ticket is redeemable towards your purchase that evening. For example, if the ticket is $5, you'll receive $5 store credit to use the same night. No need to sign up ahead of time, just stop by the Island to see what's new!
During the first night (11/3), you'll be making a large chipboard letter of your choice and you'll learn how to use the 10 Second Studio metal.
Need some ideas to get a head start on those holiday cards? Join Tiffany to create 5 fun designs with matching envelopes using Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses" line, Making Memories "Mistletoe" line, and Cosmo Cricket's "Jolly by Golly" line. Also - try out Distress Crackle Paint and imagine the possibilities! Remember to bring along your basic kit along with black and brown distressing inks. See you there! Stop by the store to see the samples. Remember that you'll receive a 10% discount on all purchases the day of the class.

For the entire month of October, we sold raffle tickets to raise money for the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. We want to thank every person who bought a ticket (or lots of tickets!) to support this cause. The prize was a HUGE basket FULL of awesome products - including an exclusive pink Making Memories Slice. Well, we drew the winner yesterday...and the winner is...
Amy Beth O. (pictured below)!!! When we called Amy she was so excited, she got a babysitter and drove all the way down from Pleasanton to claim her prize! She was SO excited when we called her! Thanks SO much Amy for your support and enjoy your basket FULL of goodies!
We also have the winner of the Breast Cancer Crop Layout Contest. Everyone who entered a layout for our silent auction received a raffle ticket. We drew the name a couple weeks ago and the winner was...Coreen L. (pictured below)!! Thank you to everyone who entered layouts for our auction. You all helped make our Breast Cancer Crop and Silent Auction a huge hit!
We had ONE more contest during the Month of October. We had a big jar FULL of flowers. People got to guess how many flowers were in the jar. And the winner is...Natalie S. (updated with photo)! There were 1,888 flowers in the jar and she was only one away from the right number. She'll collect her prize this week. Congrats to Natalie and all the winners of our October contests and raffles!
Again, thank you to each and every person who supported this very special cause. It was very successful and 100% of the proceeds went directly to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.

The fun starts...TODAY! Our special Friday Night Scrap Pink event starts any minute now (4pm-midnight). $10 from every sign up fee goes to Breast Cancer Research. We'll also have a yummy dessert bar set up for all our croppers!
Tomorrow is our ALL Day Scrap Pink Crop. The fun begins at 10am and goes all the way until 2am! That's 16 hours of crop time!
We'll have silent auctions going on all day for the awesome layouts and projects you've see in our store all year. PLUS, we've had a lot of amazing layouts submitted for our layout contest as well! 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction goes towards Breast Cancer Research.
That's not all! You can buy raffle tickets for $1.00 for the entire month of October to be put in a drawing for a basket overflowing with tons of cool products (scroll down to see a photo). The drawing for that basket will be Nov. 1.
If you've been in our store lately, we're sure you've noticed Karen's AMAZING Halloween Banner above our counter. You can make one for yourself - it's easy! She used "10 Second Studios" products to create her banner. You can change the theme to whatever you like! Be creative!
We are gearing up for our annual Breast Cancer Crop on Saturday, Oct. 17 (check out all the info on the pink bar to the left of this post). We still have room so call today and sign up!

**LAYOUT/MINI BOOK CONTEST**
This basket is for all those who enter a layout/mini book or project for our silent auction! Please call the store to register. Make a single page, 12x12 layout, mini book or other project using current store product (that way if someone wants to add to the layout or project, they easily can) and you'll get 1 ticket per each item you donate. One lucky person will win this basket at the crop on Oct. 17! Good Luck to everyne who enters. Entries must be at the store by October 14th.
**RAFFLE TICKETS FOR $1.00 FOR ALL OF OCTOBER**
This basket is a raffle for the cause as well. For this basket you will need to purchase raffle tickets. Each ticket cost a dollar each. The more tickets you buy, the better your chances and more money towards Breast Cancer Research. The drawing will be held when doors open on Nov.1st. Good luck to everyone who enters.
