CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW DESIGN TEAM!

Thank you to everyone that submitted entries for our new design team call.  It’s always difficult to make the final decisions with so many great projects.  If you didn’t make it for this round of the design team call, please consider submitting for our next design team round!

As previously announced, Veronica Leggett is our Design Team Lead.  Veronica has been on our design team from the very beginning, and has always gone above and beyond in designing store samples to inspire customers. We’ve designated Veronica as our Lead Design Team member, so as long as she wants to be on the team, she no longer has to try out.  Congratulations, Veronica Leggett!

NEW DESIGN TEAM CALL!

It’s that time again! Scrapbook Island is having another Design Team Call!

Deadline for submitting is Friday, February 8th.  UPDATE!  DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND!  Our design team call is open to all Scrapbook Island customers, at least 18 years of age. Previous design team or published works are not required. Current design team members may reapply. Scrapbook Island employees are excluded from entering.

A scrapbook of your journey adds even more as you place your photos and memorabilia in a beautiful book like the one we'll be making in this class.

 

Using some of the coolest new products around, we'll use the new Heidi Swapp Memory Files in a unique way to make a lovely book to help remember our "bon voyage" - our good journey!

 

We'll make little journaling booklets, make our own page protector inserts and fashion a one of a kind album that you'll have ready for your next trip or a trip you've taken. Even if you're not leaving home, you can still record the journey of your life!

strong tape adhesive (red line or scor-pal tape - narrow is better 1/8" or 1/4"),

Christmas time - a time for happiness and good cheer and lots of special memories to record in our annual Christmas album.

 

In this incredibly popular class our album will feature the brand new October Afternoon Make It Merry Collection as well as products from American Crafts, Fancy Pants, Simple Stories, Ranger Industries, Advantus, 7gypsies, Bazzill Basics, and May Arts.

 

We'll create our own 7 1/2" x 9" album and fill it with four different style page protectors from Simple Stories and then add even more pages and pockets and tags. 

 

We'll have fun making our own patterned page with stain  and doodling and stamping.

 

 You can make your album pretty and pink like mine or choose from many other papers in your kit to personalize your cover.

 

What a great feeling when your album is done and ready to fill as the busy holiday season approaches.

 It makes a great gift too!

Have you been cleaning out your old supplies? Are you finding some Scrapbooking, Stamping and Mixed Media supplies that you're not going to use any more? Do you have totes or idea books collecting dust? Well, gather them up, so they can be sold at our Island Flea Market. Watch for more information about our VIP Night Friday August 24th. A night where you can shop without the crowds and get first pick of all the goodies!

Interested In selling??? Please stop by or call the Island for further registration information and to sign-up. Once you sign up, you will be given an information & rules sheet (or download the form by clicking the link below) that will give you all the details you will need. Just to let you know, you do not need to be here to sell your items, we sell them for you! Easy!

The Flea Market will be held in the NEW crop space just to the side of the store. We hope you participate and sell items you don't need any more.

DEADLINE FOR DESIGN TEAM CALL EXTENDED to Friday, May 25th! We're swamped and still recuperating from NSD, so we are holding off judging entries for a couple of weeks. We hear many of you have been swamped too, so take advantage of the opportunity! You know what else we're hearing? Some of you aren't sure you can commit to the make and take dates. Ladies, while we would love all design team members to be a part of the make and takes, it is not a deal breaker, so don't let that stop you! Show us your talent and get your entries in!
