Caroline Lau from Maya Road will be here on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 6-9pm to teach an awesome mini book class titled "Wings". Check out the pink bar on the left for a closer look and more details.

We know how much you all LOVE the great chipboard mini books by Maya Road and here's your chance to make one with the a head designer from Maya Road. In this class you'll embellish this "Wings" album with lots of great techniques including inking, sanding and you'll even use a needle & thread! We'll let you know what to bring when you call and sign up.

We'll be having our Silent Auction during our Breast Cancer Crop Weekend (Oct. 18-19) and the layout with the highest bid will win this basket! You may enter as many layouts as you like. That's right! You can win everything in one of the two baskets shown for only $1.00! How, you might ask? Well, stop by The Island and buy a raffle ticket for only $1 to be put in the bucket of choice (either Pink or Blue). 100% of the proceeds for the raffle will go to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Fund. There's no limit to how many tickets you can buy - the more you enter, the better your chances!

Sign up NOW for our Annual 30 Hour Breast Cancer Crop Sat., 10/18 @ 10am - Sun., 10/19 @ 4pm

We are now taking sign ups for out 30 Hour (yup, you read it right - thirty hour!) crop beginning Saturday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, October 19. There are two options of signing up...

First option: Saturday, 10/18, 10am-11pm only. Cost: $55.00. Includes Brunch, Dinner, snacks & beverages. Also a super cute chipboard album make & take for you to do at the crop or take home and do later.

Second option: Saturday, 10/18 at 10am through Sunday, 10/19 at 4pm. Cost: $95.00. It will include all the above plus breakfast Sunday morning. The crop "officially" ends at 11am, but we'll keep the crop room open until 4pm Sunday for all you die-hard croppers!

Due to the large amount of preparations for this crop, there are no cancellations. Sign up today as space is limited and this crop always fills up fast!

ALL proceeds from our crop will be donated to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation.

FUN EXTRAS:

Layout Competition: Design your best layout (a single page 12x12 layout) using current store product to be entered into our silent auction. The layout that receives the highest bid during our silent auction will win a gift basket filled with great products & surprises! You may enter as many layouts as you like. You DO NOT need to be a signed up for the crop to participate in this competition! Please call the store or stop by the pick up a package of instructions. The layouts are due Monday, Oct. 13. Silent Auction: Do our walls look a bit bare to you? Are you looking around for your favorite layout to recreate it for your albums? Wondering where they went? Well wonder no more - we are getting them ready for our silent auction. Every hour a bunch of layouts and other fun store samples will be put out with silent auction sign up sheets. Bid on your favorites and know that ALL proceeds will be donated to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Again, anyone can bid - whether your at the crop or not! The auction will got on all day Saturday into the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Raffles: We will be selling raffles tickets for $1 to be entered into a drawing for some awesome gift baskets which will be displayed in the store. You don't need to be present to win this raffles. Enter as many times as you like - all the better chance you'll win! Plus, it's for a great cause!
